As a Mid SAPS oil, it's compliant with Euro 4, 5, and 6 standards, ensuring optimal Diesel Particulate Filter protection. This specific viscosity grade has demonstrated superior fuel efficiency compared to the 5W30 grade. It's backward compatible, with 504.00 and 507.00 surpassing all preceding VW specifications. Ideal for all VAG Group vehicles (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda) from 2007 onwards with extended oil drain intervals. However, it's not advised for pre-2007 V10 TDI and 5-cylinder 2.5 TDI engines requiring the 506.01 specification, and first-generation engines with pump injector units should opt for the 505.01 specification.
